Take Tai Chi with You
Because you can take tai chi with you, it’s a very flexible exercise program. People who travel for a living need to exercise. With some areas of cities not safe to run in and with gyms sometimes hard to find, it is great to have tai chi available on those overnight trips.
As you practice tai chi, imagine your breath (chi) running anywhere: down your arm, through your head, out your feet, moving from you to another person. It is all chi, but the breath is a terrific way to allow it to be more real. As you work with circular breathing, you’ll find that the movement of the breath/chi helps you lift your arms, lengthen your back, and soften your knees. Your breath/chi will become at one with the movements as you use your mind to direct the breath/chi. So in circular breath, your mind and body are functioning together.
